These tutorials are designed for you to learn to use a number of standard bioinformatics and biocomputing tools - by working with them, in the privacy of your own computer and at your own pace. Our hope is that you will master the basics of the tools through exploring these tutorials, and then come with many specific questions and problems from your own research to training courses offered at your local EMBnet Node.

While geared for use by researchers who are also registered users of an EMBnet Node computing centre, anyone with access to the Internet and a computer running the programmes we describe may use the tutorials.
